KALA AVARAN MISAGH (K.A.M) established in 2003 in Isfahan one of main industrial city in Iran. KAM offers wide range of raw material specially ferroalloy, met and pet coke, scrap and different kind of rail for industries. Over the years the company has served raw materials and services with expertise in foundry and steel industries. Our mission will be accomplished by living according to values that speak to the economic, social, and environmental responsibilities of business and society.

Products

Sponge iron
It is a metallic product produced through direct reduction of iron ore in the solid state. It is a substitute for scrap and is mainly used in making steel through the secondary route. The process of sponge iron making aims to remove the oxygen from iron ore.
Met coke
Metallurgical coke, also known as "Met Coke", is a carbon material manufactured by the Destructive Distillation which is performed in Coke Batteries of various blends of coking Coal.
Lime
A white alkaline substance consisting of calcium oxide which is obtained by heating and calcination of limestone. This material is used as a flux and desulfurizing in steel making plants.
Fe-Mn
Ferro Manganese is an alloy with high percentage of manganese, which is made by heating in blast furnace or an electric arc furnace system. The oxides go through carbo-thermal reduction in the furnaces that result in producing Ferro Manganese. Ferro Manganese is used as deoxidizer and desulfurizer for production of steel.

Fe-Cr
Ferro Chrome is an alloy with 58% to 65% chrome, 8.5% max carbon, 0.05% max phosphorus, 4% max silicon and 0.05% max sulphur. With chrome content from 60% minimum, there are several variations on High Carbon Ferro Chrome with carbon contents of.
Ferrosilicon
Ferrosilicon is used mainly as a master alloy during iron- and steelmaking. It is an alloy of iron and silicon with an average silicon content between 15 and 90 weight percent. It contains a high proportion of iron silicides. Ferrosilicon is used as a source of silicon to reduce metals from their oxides and to deoxidize steel and other ferrous alloys.
Cast iron
Cast iron is a group of iron-carbon alloys with a carbon content greater than 2%, along with varying amounts of silicon and manganese and traces of impurities such as sulfur and phosphorus. It is made by reducing iron ore in a blast furnace or in other furnaces such as cupola and induction..
Scrap
Iron and steel scrap is a vital raw material for the production of new steel and cast-iron products. The remelting of scrap requires much less energy than the production of iron and steel products from iron ore.
